The Cathedral Hill Campus, on Van Ness Avenue and Geary Boulevard, is the cornerstone of our plans and the hub for CPMC's future campus network. The new acute care facility is designed to provide the highest quality patient and visitor comforts with the technology of the future, including state-of-the art seismic upgrades that will meet new state requirements.

The new Cathedral Hill Campus will:

• Bring California Pacific Medical Center’s acute care and critical care services to one central location.
• Provide major medical programs and services such as organ transplantation, interventional cardiology, gastroenterology, and other tertiary and quaternary services
• Provide an emergency room centrally located on a major transit route within San Francisco.
• Be able to provide essential services and remain operational after a major earthquake.
• Provide extensive Women and Children’s services, including maternity, pediatrics and neonatal intensive care.
• Lay the foundation for the next generation of health care, using the latest advancements in medical and building technology.
