Free, confidential hepatitis B screening is available to San Francisco residents. Asians and Pacific Islanders are at highest risk for hepatitis B. Because this virus can hide inside the body, many people do not know they have the virus until they get tested. Hepatitis B is treatable and a vaccine can prevent this disease.
Our current screening schedule is as follows. To expedite your screening, please print and complete our consent form in advance.
