Raising Funds and Providing Vital Services

Raising Funds at Campus Gift Shops and Cafés
Through the campus gifts shops and cafés, the Guild raises funds while offering convenience and hospitality to visitors. These services also offer wonderful volunteer opportunities to converse with customers: families waiting for word about a loved one in surgery, an intensive care nurse needing a break from the intensity of the day, or someone wanting to buy a gift to cheer a patient’s day.

Clothes-in-Need Program
The purpose of Clothes-In-Need is to help CPMC’s patients who have no family or are otherwise without support, and are in need of clothing upon discharge. In 2009, The Guild donated funds to establish the program, with matching funds provided by CPMC Foundation. We are grateful to Walgreens Drugstore for generously providing the clothing at wholesale.

Woodywoof Knitting Project
The Guild provides funding for the ongoing Woodywoof Project that provides hand knitted blankets for pediatric patients and babies in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
