Senior Gift Planning Officer

Prior to joining California Pacific Medical Center Foundation in April 2006, Barbara was a life insurance agent specializing in the use of insurance for estate planning and business continuation. She worked with families to assure a smooth transition of assets from one generation to the next. Prior to that, Barbara was a vice president at the Bank of San Francisco, worked as an account executive with the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce, and was a licensed residential realtor in Hawaii.

Barbara had served for five years on the Foundation’s Planned Giving Committee. She has been a board member with the Volunteer Center of San Francisco, the Junior League of San Francisco, and the San Francisco Boys and Girls Club. She is currently a volunteer with San Francisco City Guides and the Barbary Coast Neighborhood Association.

Barbara is keenly interested in educating women in the area of finance and created a successful monthly luncheon program called “Financially Savvy Women.”

She did graduate studies in the MBA program at the University of Hawaii and is a member of the Northern California Planned Giving Council.
