Lions Eye Foundation

The generosity and support of the Lions Eye Foundation provide essential funding for eye- and vision-related services such as Eye Clinic expenses, surgical procedures and the purchase of critically needed equipment. Contributions to the Medical Center in 2006 totaled $78,000.

Smith-Kettlewell Eye Research Institute

Along with supporting programs run by the Department of Ophthalmology, the Smith-Kettlewell Eye Research Institute conducts important research in vision sciences. It’s also involved in partially funding and selecting participants for the Clinical Fellowship Program, a clinician’s final step toward earning a license to practice.
