Brain Lab Cranial Navigation System
Funding Need: $470,000
This is a GPS system for the brain, not unlike the ones used in cars to find directions. You are invited to help provide such a system for the new Neuroscience InstituteOpens new window at CPMC’s Davies Campus. Every patient with a brain tumor, Parkinson’s disease or epilepsy wants to know that their surgeon can locate and treat the abnormality without damaging healthy nearby areas of the brain, such as the ones that control their speech or their ability to walk. Your gift will help provide that assurance.
