    Areas of Greatest Need

    CPMC Foundation's Annual Priorities


    The funds we raise in support of CPMC have a real impact on the care our patients receive. That's because while hospital revenues typically cover day-to-day operating expenses, it's charitable gifts that allow us to make crucial improvements not covered by the Medical Center's annual budget. That includes purchasing new equipment, expanding key programs, and upgrading our facilities.

    Areas of Need: Cancer Care
    California Pacific offers cancer patients options that include conventional and high-tech treatments, support services and integrated medicine choices in a caring environment.

    • Radiation Oncology 4D CT Simulator
      Funding need: $1,330,000
    • Digital Mammography Equipment at St. Luke’s
      Funding completed! $750,000 raised!

    Areas of Need: Cardiac Care
    Cardiovascular services by CPMC's team of pioneering physicians combine patient-centered care with leading-edge technology.

    • Cardiac Cryo Ablation System
      Funding need: $110,000
    • Cardiac 3D Mapping System
      Funding need: $246,500

    Areas of Need: Community Health
    CPMC has a long history of reaching out across the City to serve our community in different neighborhoods, delivering health care in an affordable, accessible and culturally-sensitive manner.

    • African American & Sister-to-Sister Programs
      (breast health)

    • Hepatitis B Free Screening Project
      (health for high-risk groups)

    • Institute for Health & Healing
      (integrative medicine)

    • Bayview Child Health Center
      (pediatrics)

    • Child Life Program (pediatrics)

    • Kalmanovitz Child Development Center
      (pediatrics)

    • St. Luke's Pediatric Clinic
      (pediatrics)

    • St. Luke's Women's Center
      (women's services)

    • Women’s Health Resource Center

    Areas of Need: Interventional Endoscopy
    CPMC emphasizes personalized care for gastrointestinal and pancreatic disease patients, delivered through our physicians' excellence and the best endoscopic equipment.

    • Paul May and Frank Stein Interventional Endoscopy Center Expansion
      Funding need: $3,300,000

    Areas of Need: Neurosciences
    CPMC combines the best neurology, neurosurgery, and neuro-oncology specialists in Northern California with the latest equipment and surgical technology to provide advanced treatment options to our patients.

    • Brain Lab Cranial Navigation System
      Funding need: $470,000

    Areas of Need: Women & Children's Services
    Comprehensive services and the latest techological advances for women and children's health remain a focal point at CPMC, with Obstetrics, Gynecology and Pediatrics featuring prominently.

    • Birthing Beds for Labor and Delivery
      Funding need: $175,000
    • Neonatal Transport Gurney (with Incubator)
      Funding need: $146,000
    • Pediatric Transport Gurney
      Funding need: $61,500
