Diversity and Excellence! That’s how California Pacific Medical Center Foundation regards the many Foundation, Corporate and Vendor donors who generously contributed a combined total of $5,104,080 in 2006. These philanthropic gifts represent 18 percent of the total dollars raised for the Foundation, and a 23 percent increase of for the Foundation, Corporate and Vendor gifts program from the previous year. McKesson Foundation

Supporting CPMC's Bayview Child Health Center

Recognizing the need to improve the delivery of health care services in some of San Francisco’s most economically disadvantaged neighborhoods, the Foundation increased its level of giving in 2007. Currently, the McKesson Foundation, Inc. is supporting the new Bayview Child Health Center, which is a site for comprehensive, community-based, child and adolescent health services.

Supporting CPMC's Bayview Child Health Center

Through the Bay Area Community Fund, United Way supports more than 250 local programs that fight poverty and create opportunities for children, youth, families and neighborhoods to thrive. Currently, United Way joins with McKesson Foundation and Tipping Point in supporting CPMC's Bayview Child Health Center.

Susan G. Komen for the Cure

Supporting CPMC breast health programs

Since 1989, Susan G. Komen for the Cure has contributed $394,500 to support breast health programs at California Pacific Medical Center. This on-going collaborative effort has resulted in several hundred women receiving free mammograms, clinical breast examinations, education on the importance of early detection in the fight against breast cancer.
