Cardiac Cryo Ablation System

Funding Need: $110,000

No one wants to be referred to an outside medical facility because their hospital lacks the technology required for a particular procedure. But that happens when a CPMC patient needs cardiac Cryo Ablation. Electrophysiology procedures are performed to diagnose abnormalities, or to access the heart for treatment or correction of certain conditions. But some locations in the heart cannot be treated with standard ablation technology. As Northern California’s foremost Electrophysiology ProgramOpens new window, California Pacific has the responsibility to provide the community with the most advanced technology. You are invited to help CPMC broaden its capability to serve cardiac patients by purchasing a state-of-the-art Cardiac Cryo Ablation System.

Cardiac 3D Mapping System

Funding Need: $246,500

Hundreds of ablation procedures are performed each year at CPMC’s Kanbar Cardiac CenterOpens new window using a 3D mapping system that creates a map of the heart using GPS-like technology. By the end of 2011, the current mapping system will become obsolete. Your gift will help ensure that our world-class team of electrophysiologists is equipped with the best technology available and that our cardiac patients needing ablation to treat arrhythmias will receive the safest and most effective care.
