African American Breast Health
The Need: $360,000
Consider making a profound gift to community health via our African American Breast Health Program, which provides breast health outreach and education along with a wide range of clinical screenings and breast cancer treatments at no cost to African American women in San Francisco’s underserved communities. The Program recently expanded to include its Sister-to-Sister Project, providing the same culturally- sensitive breast care services to women from Filipina and other Asian/Pacific Islander, Latina, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) populations, as well as women under 40 with a family history of breast cancer. St. Luke’s Pediatric Care
The Need: $500,000
Philanthropic support ensures that St. Luke’s Pediatric Clinic can provide pediatric care to some of our community’s most vulnerable children whose families’ health care options are often limited by language, location and income. With four physicians and a nurse practitioner – all fluent in Spanish – the Clinic provides a full range of pediatric care to every child who needs it, regardless of a family’s ability to pay for services. The Need: $100,000
St. Luke’s provides high-quality, affordable obstetrical and gynecological health care services to women of San Francisco’s underserved Mission District, South of Market and surrounding communities, where few of its ethnically diverse patients have private health insurance.
