2009 Honorees

This year’s Wishes for Wellness honorees are beloved cardiologist and cardiac disease specialist Lester B. Jacobson MD; internationally recognized brain cancer researcher, neurologist and surgeon Charles S. Cobbs MD; and highly acclaimed pediatrician Nadine J. Burke MD, MPH, FAAP, who in 2007 established the first health care pediatric clinic serving the Bayview Hunter’s Point community of over 10,000 children.
