The Executive Committee coordinates the functions of the Foundation, meeting as a leadership group to review issues prior to presentation to the entire Board.

Selected for their exceptional prior service on the Medical Center Board or Foundation Board, the Board of Counselors serves as an advisory support group, ambassadors of both the Hospital and the Foundation on matters of major significance to both organizations.

Corporate & Foundation Giving Committee
Mrs. Leslie Ferguson Dietz, Chair
An oversight committee responsible for fundraising efforts as they relate to foundation and corporate prospects. Identifies new foundation and corporate donors; available for key solicitations and cultivation events when Trustee participation is needed.

Donor Relations Committee

Promote the principles of individual gift cultivation, solicitation and stewardship within the Board of Trustees.

Reviews financial operating performance and also reviews and approves planned gift obligations.

Grants & Disbursements Committee

Marston Nauman, Vice Chair
Makes recommendations and policy oversight regarding the uses of unrestricted donations and net earned income from the Foundation’s Board Designated Funds. Working closely with the President of the Medical Center, reports the uses of these donations and income to the Finance Committee for their approval.

Joan Kahr, Co-Chair (Sutter West Bay Board)
Comprised of members from the Sutter West Bay Hospitals Board of Directors and the CPMC Foundation Board of Trustees. This committee oversees the process of administering and investing charitable funds.

Responsible for the identification, recruitment, and nomination of candidates to fill vacancies on the Foundation Board and to recommend annual nomination of officers.

Physicians' Philanthropy Advisory Committee

Kathleen Lewis, M.D., Vice Chair (Non-Board Volunteer)
A committee of leading CPMC physicians who raise the visibility of philanthropy within the physician community and work to promote philanthropy in the community.

Planned Giving Committee
Robert F. Darling, Chair
Barbara A. Murphy, Esq., Vice Chair (Non-Board Volunteer)
Comprised of attorneys, accountants, planned giving donors, and estate and financial planners, this committee actively promotes contributions to the Foundation through the use of advantageous tax, financial, and estate planning techniques and advises and assists staff and Board on planned gift matters.

The Women & Children's Leadership CouncilOpens new window, comprised of Foundation Trustees and community volunteers, serves as an advocate group for women and children’s services at CPMC.

Foundation Cabinet

Chaired by the President of CPMC Foundation, membership consists of the separately incorporated organizations affiliated with the Medical Center. The purpose is to provide a forum between the Foundation and our partner organizations to encourage cooperation and coordination.
