Looking forward with hope

On behalf of thousands of grateful patients, I’m writing to thank you for supporting California Pacific Medical Center. Because of your generosity, many Bay Area residents who were diagnosed with serious diseases at CPMC last year are looking forward with hope to 2012.

As a CPMC donor, you have a direct impact on patients in every area of the medical center. Charitable gifts are enabling us to pay for such important new equipment as a Brain Lab Cranial Navigation System and Neurosurgery Microscope for our Neurosciences Center of ExcellenceOpens new window.
Philanthropic support is also essential to sustaining such programs as our Institute for Health & HealingOpens new window, which plays a vital supportive role in easing the difficult side-effects of cancer treatment.

Your support helps the Medical Center attract to our staff outstanding health professionals like neurosurgeon Charles Cobbs, M.D.Opens new window, who seek us out for the opportunities we offer to work with first-rate colleagues and the most up-to-date resources in their fields.

Donations from friends like you are also instrumental to keeping CPMC's crucial Community Health Programs available to local patients who urgently need them: the St. Luke's Pediatric Care and Women's Center, Bayview Child Health Center, Kalmanovitz Child Development Center, Coming Home Hospice, and many others.
