At California Pacific Medical Center, our Imaging and Oncology Services professional staff includes: Radiology PACS Assistants, PACS Administrators, PACS QC Technologists, PACS Analysts, Radiology Nurses, Radiologic Technologists, Cat Scan (CT) Technologists, Interventional Technologists, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologists, Mammographers, Nuclear Medicine Technologists, PET Scan Technologists, PET CT Technologists, Sonographers, Non-Invasive Vascular Lab Sonographers, Clinical Oncology Nurses, Oncology Nurse Practitioners, Radiation Therapists, Dosimitrists, Medical Physicists, Radiation Oncology Nurses, Radiation Oncologists, and Medical Transcriptionists.
There are numerous vital responsibilities including Radiology Centralized Scheduling for appointments, providing CD copies of studies and results, Breast Health Services, Radiation Oncology Cancer treatment and many others. We offer these services over 4 Campuses, 2 Medical Office Buildings and 1 Surgical Center. We have state-of-the-art imaging technologies; multiple 64-slice CT scanners, Digital Radiography, Trilogy (allows for SRS, SRBT), Vocada (voice recognition transcription), Breast MRI, paperless order entry. In some cases many of these services are available 24-hours.
We have opportunities available for several career tracks in the Imaging and Oncology Services. There are positions in many areas of our department at various campuses. Each has its own unique character: the California campus serves primarily moms and babies; the Davies Campus has our primary Neurological and Rehabilitation services program; the St. Luke’s Campus has an active emergency department and a diverse patient mix; the Pacific Campus is the flagship hospital and includes Transplant and Oncology services.
Our staff must possess several intangibles such as very good communication skills, the ability to perform under stressful situations, the willingness to consistently provide very good customer service, the passion to work with ill patients and experience working with Radiology Information System (RIS). We are seeking highly motivated candidates for positions throughout Imaging and Oncology Services. Current licensure for California and applicable National agencies is preferred, for designated job types.
