    2012 Annual Priorities: Achievements

CPMC Stroke Telemedicine Program physician examining a patient

In 2012, gifts to our Annual Priorities funded numerous programs and equipment purchases that our physicians and clinical leaders designated as critically necessary. For example, you helped acquire new birthing beds to make deliveries safer and more comfortable. You enabled us to provide compassionate care to those nearing end of life at CPMC’s Coming Home Hospice. And your investment in our innovative Stroke Telemedicine Program enabled physicians at our renowned Neuroscience Institute to use video teleconferencing technology to help colleagues in remote locations diagnose and treat patients who may be having a stroke.
