Overview
California Pacific Medical Center's Pediatric Neurosurgery program specializes in surgical treatment of brain, spine, pituitary, acoustic and other skull-base tumors in addition to complex spinal and spinal-cord congenital disorders including cerebral palsy and seizure disorders. The Neurosurgery Center is California Children's Services (CCS) approved.
Our neurosurgery services include:
> Complex spinal and spinal cord disorders
> Computer-assisted surgery of deep brain lesions
> Surgical and endoscopic treatment of hydrocephalus and intercranial lesions
> Surgical treatment of intercranial aneurysms and other cerebrovascular disease
> Surgical treatment of movement disorders
Our emphasis is on total patient care, stressing not only medical concerns but also the resolution of psychosocial family issues. We work closely with pediatric and adolescent sub-specialists, as well as the patient's family for expeditious and successful patient recovery.
