Overview
For children with cancer or a blood disease, access to leading edge treatment and research studies are as important as receiving outstanding, family-centered care.
At California Pacific Medical Center, this personalized care is a cornerstone of our Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Program. Our experienced health care providers and one's family have an equal partnership in determining a child's treatment plan. We work closely with each family, becoming a part of their extended circle, as the child progresses through all phases of treatment. Our team has extensive experience with managing children with chronic illnesses and follows all Children's Oncology Group protocols. Our focus is on providing families with top-notch care through all phases of treatment.

We care for children ranging in age from infants to adolescents.
Accreditation
Our Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Program and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) are certified by California Children's Services (CCS), which has also certified California Pacific Medical Center as a tertiary care hospital. This demonstrates our pediatric expertise and the high level of care available for young children and adolescents. Additionally, California Pacific Medical Center is a member of the National Association for Children's Hospitals and Related Institutions (NACHRI). This membership enables us to network with other institutions that are also committed to excellence in providing health care to children.
