Who Should Attend?
This course is designed for pediatric and neonatal hospitalists, pediatricians, family practice physicians, emergency medicine physicians, residents and allied health professionals who participate in the care and management of sick children and neonates.

Course Objectives
At the completion of the program, participants should be able to:
1) Discuss the etiology and management of various pediatric surgical, neurosurgical and neonatal emergencies
2) Review the various imaging modalities of the abdomen and chest in the pediatric population
3) Discuss the etiology, pathophysiology and current management of inflammatory bowel disease in the pediatric population
4) Obtain a better understanding of pediatric pain management and procedural sedation
5) Discuss the complexities involved with emerging antibiotic resistance in an inpatient setting
