Warren Kim, M.D. Ph.D. Neurointerventional Surgeon
Dr. Kim received his medical degree and Ph.D. from Yale University. He completed his Transitional internship at the Santa Clara Valley Medical in San Jose. He completed his residency in Radiology and fellowship in Neuroradiology at UCSF, and is board-certified in both Radiology and Neuroradiology. He went on to complete a second fellowship in Neurointerventional Radiology at UCSF. He specializes in the diagnosis and endovascular treatment of vascular diseases of the brain, head, neck and spine such as actute ischemic stroke, hemorrahagic stroke, brain aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations, and arteriovenous fistulas.
His research interests include the development of innovative software to overlay multiple imaging modalities, optimize intra-operative real-time visualization, and perform sophisticated volumetric 3-D and 4-D analysis, as well as the development of new devices and techniques to improve neurointerventional treatments.
