Dr. Rose completed his medical and neurological training at Columbia University’s College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York and was fellowship trained at UCSF. He is board certified in Neurology, and board eligible in Vascular Neurology and Neurointensive Care.

Fellowship trained in Stroke and both General and Neurological Critical Care. Ongoing academic appointment as Clinical instructor for the Department of Neurology at the University of California, San Francisco.

Basic Research:

Research assistant and National Institutes of Health (NIH) summer research fellow in the laboratory of Nobel Laureate Eric R. Kandel, M.D., Center of Neurobiology and Behavior, Columbia University.
