Individualized Care

Our team of skilled health professionals is trained to provide:

  • Comprehensive evaluations.
  • Individuallized care plan, outlining recommendations for the most current medical interventions and integration of complementary therapies.
  • Patient advocacy with insurance companies and other health-related vendors.
  • Guidance with emotional and financial difficulties which may arise as a result of memory problems.
  • Diagnostics

    We provide a variety of diagnostic tests depending upon the need. These may include:

  • Review of medical records and reassesment of medications
  • Neuropsychological testing to provide an in-depth evaluation of cognitive functioning
  • Blood tests to evaluate medical conditions that cancontribute to memory impairment
  • Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) or Computerized Tomography (CT)scan
  • Positron Emission Tomography (PET)
  • Electroencephalography (EEG)
  • Referral for sleep study at the Physician Foundation Sleep Health Center

    Medical Management

    The Memory Clinic Neurologist provides principle care in coordination with the patient's primary care provider. This includes:

  • Optimizing the medication regime to include new and research drugs now available to enhance memory.
  • Managing related symptoms that sometimes occur, such as confusion, sleep and gait disturbances, and urinary incontinence.


  • Community Management

    Your care does not end when you leave the Memory Clinic. Our goal is to assist you with the challenges of daily activities.

    A Social Worker provides assistance with continuity of care in the community. Assistance with referrals for services and support in your area, community programs, support groups, adult day programs, exercise groups and other therapeutic programs. Our social workder can also provide referrals for financial and legal planning services.

    Complementary Medicine

    Through services provided by California Pacific Medical Center's Institute for Health & Healing, complementary therapies such as meditation, visual imagery, therapeutic dance, massage, supplements and vitamins are offered to patients seeking to enhance their overall well-being.
