CPNI Bulletin General Neurology Edition
Message from Brian T. Andrews, M.D., FACS, FAANS
This issue of the CPNI Bulletin focuses on general neurology. I am proud of our comprehensive inpatient service, but I am also proud of our world class team of general neurologists who care for outpatients who present with neurological disorders including headache and chronic pain, movement disorders, encephalopathy, myelopathy, and peripheral nerve disorders. Many of our general neurologists provide EMG and nerve conduction neurodiagnostic testing in their offices and many have subspecialty interests, but each physician provides quality care for vast array neurological of disorders.
CPNI physicians provide patient care and have a strong presence throughout Northern California including Marin and Sonoma counties through our affiliation with Sutter Pacific Medical Foundation neurologists.
I am also excited to announce CPNI’s NeuroConsult service, a full time inpatient referral program to care for acutely ill patients with neurological disorders, except stroke and cerebrovascular disorders. Mark Saleh, M.D., the NeuroConsult director, is working with our excellent team of general neurologists to provide consultative care at all of California Pacific Medical Center’s four San Francisco campuses. The NeuroConsult service can be reached through our 24/7Patient Referral and Transfer Service at 888-637-2762.
CPNI aims to provide patients throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and Northern California with the finest inpatient and outpatient neurological services available. I am confident of the care provided by our neurologists and neurosurgeons.
