Hand Therapy Center

With emphasis on the rehabilitation of upper extremity trauma, our program works closely with the Microsurgery Division of California Pacific. Services are provided by occupational therapists and physical therapists specializing in hand rehabilitation, the majority are Certified Hand Therapists. The staff have a wide variety of expertise in the areas of post microsurgical rehabilitation, burn rehabilitation, severe mutilating injuries, and multi-system injuries. Each staff member has received extensive in-house training on post microsurgery and reconstructive surgery care, as well as a preceptorship and weekly inservice program. In the hand therapy community, we are regarded as the "resource" on microsurgical rehabilitation. Our therapists are regularly invited to speak at local and national conferences, review papers submitted to professional journals, write chapters for textbooks, and are often asked by community physicians and therapists to discuss treatment plans on their challenging cases.

Referring Patients to Hand Therapy
We accept a variety of insurance including most workers' compensation, Medicare, Medi-Cal and a number of HMO and PPO plans. We do require a physician's prescription to initiate treatment.
