Dear Participant:
Thank you for taking part in our California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC) HepB Free campaign which is aimed at increasing awareness and stopping the spread of hepatitis B. Your test results indicate that you are:
- Hepatitis B Surface Antigen: NON-REACTIVE
A non-reactive HepB surface antigen test means you are not currently infected with the hepatitis B virus. - Hepatitis B Surface Antibody: REACTIVE
A reactive hepatitis B surface antibody test means you are protected against hepatitis B.
Based on these results, you have either been vaccinated against hepatitis B or have been exposed to hepatitis B in the past and have since cleared the infection from your body. This means you are likely to have lifetime protection from hepatitis B and no further action is required.
If you have any questions regarding your hepatitis B test or test results, please contact us by email at HepBFree@sutterhealth.org or by phone at 415-600-1360.
