Free Hepatitis B Virus (HBV)
Screening and Vaccinations
Free, confidential hepatitis B screening and vaccination is available to San Francisco residents, through the San Francisco Hep B FreeOpens new window initiative. Asians and Pacific Islanders are at highest risk for hepatitis B. Because this virus can hide inside the body, many people do not know they have the virus until they get tested. Hepatitis B is treatable and a vaccine can prevent this disease.
