My wife and I wish to thank Dr. Binmoeller for the excellent care we received from the Interventional Endoscopy Center staff. You provided us with successful outcomes that cured us completely. You found my pancreas cancer one year ago. Dr. John Rabkin performed the Whipple procedure on me October 17, 2008. To say the least it was a terrifying experience for me, as I was aware of the grim statistics, but it was you and your words that I keep in my mind all the time.

You were the third doctor to perform and ERCP (it was Dr. Rengstroff in Redwood City, Sequoia Hospital who referred me to you) and you are the one who found the cancer. I was still asleep, but I clearly understood when you said “you have a cancer, it’s curable and you will be better by the end of the year.” Whenever I get scared I just remember you voice and words, and I pull myself together, because I believe in you!

I have completed my chemotherapy, radiation therapy and am now back at work full time as a paralegal at Genentech, and I feel wonderful. I have had three CT scans, and they show no evidence of disease!
