Traveling to exotic places? Visiting foreign destinations is exciting but can be challenging if you are not prepared. It is important to have information that will make your trip safe and enjoyable.

The Travel Clinic at California Pacific Medical Center can help you plan. We are an official California vaccination center. When traveling abroad, immunizations may either be required or recommended. Our experienced travel nurse will discuss health and safety concerns associated with any destination in the world and provide appropriate immunizations.

Several weeks may be required to complete the necessary series of vaccines and to allow your body to respond to them. Be sure to have your immunizations well in advance of departure.

We offer a full range of individualized services for adults and children (2 years an older) and are prepared to address the concerns of special needs travelers. An extensive library of print materials is also available to you, providing information on topics such as jet lag, safety, illnesses from food, water and altitude, beach safety, illnesses from insects, medication and first aid supplies, and packing.
