Pediatric Weight Management

Overview
Health Champion’s MOVE Program is designed to combine best practices in clinical evaluation and behavioral modification to create a model for patient-centered care of pediatric overweight. Our vision is to provide a supportive, welcoming environment, in which medical professionals will work as partners with families to achieve lifestyle changes. This pediatric weight management program will target children who are at or above the 85th percentile for age on the BMI charts. MOVE will consist of two components:

MOVE Clinic:
A multidisciplinary medical clinic designed to assess and treat overweight children, 2-18 years old, and their families. Families will have biweekly or monthly appointments, as needed, to address weight-related behaviors.
