    Planning on breastfeeding? This class provides information on getting off to a good start. Learn how to latch and position your infant, ways to avoid breastfeeding difficulties, how often to feed your infant, and more. Next class : September 17
    Planning on breastfeeding and returning to work or school? This class provides information on choosing a breast pump, how to maintain your milk supply, storing your milk at work and how to gain your employer's support. Next class : October 22
    To be taken prenatally. This 2.5 hour class discusses the benefits and basic techniques of breastfeeding; how to prevent, recognize and manage potential difficulties; and considerations for partners. Offered as a one time class. Next class : September 20

    Drop-in class. This informal drop-in group focuses on breastfeeding techniques, benefits, and emotional support. Facilitated by an Alta Bates Summit board-certified Lactation Consultant. Next class : September 16
    Facilitated by a lactation educator, this free, drop-in group is designed to support mothers and their babies (ages 0-4 months). Next class : September 18
