    At Sutter Medical Center Sacramento, our goal is to provide you with a safe and supportive environment in which to share experiences, ask questions, and learn techniques to adapt to life after surgery. Next class : September 20
    This peer support group, facilitated by trained art therapists and volunteers, assists grieving children (ages 4 through 17) in expressing emotions over the recent death of a loved one by utilizing art and other creative outlets. Next class : To Be Announced
    The program is self-help by design, offering an opportunity to learn about the changes loss brings and how to deal with those changes in an atmosphere of understanding and sharing through both individual and group meetings. Next class : September 6
    Childrens and teen grief and loss support programs provide a positive and safe place to share feelings, thoughts and ideas as they process the experience of their loss. Next class : September 1
    Are you worried about your family's health? Our four-week "Healthy eating. Active lifestyles." program is for parents, children and teenagers. Next class : September 13
    For people who have experienced the death of a significant person, this support group offers information about the normal grief process and provides emotional support and opportunities for sharing. Next class : September 6
    Join us for this year-long weight management program that consists of 16 core sessions and 6 monthly post-core sessions. This program is well-suited for overweight individuals with pre-diabetes or insulin resistance. Next class : September 8
    Year-long diabetes prevention program where participants will learn behavior modification and lifestyle changes for weight loss, improved health and risk reduction. Contact us and book a half-hour consultation with one of our facilitators. Next class : September 14
    Yes, diabetes is preventable! This evidence-based "Group Lifestyles Balance™ Program" is designed to help people make lifestyle changes which can prevent diabetes and treat metabolic syndrome. Next class : September 12
