Post Treatment Cancer Support Group for Women (4th Wednesday)

You have finished your cancer treatment and you feel cautiously relieved and happy. But there are so many other feelings and circumstances at play. You are not the same person you were before you were diagnosed and you are trying to adjust to a new normal that you haven't yet defined. Some say that time after treatment can be equally as challenging as going through treatment. You may still be feeling the physical side effects of treatment and not understand what is normal andwhat is not. Returning back to "the usual" family, work and other commitments from your "old" life may feel exhausting or strange. Others' expectations of you may not match with who you are now and the support structure that you had during treatment maybe shifting. So how do you walk in your new life? This support group is a safe place to discuss these issues and learn from others' experience. We also bring in guest speakers to address topics relevant to this part of your cancer journey. Please join us to get support for this very real and important part of your healing process. Offered the 4th Wednesday of each month. Free. Drop-ins welcome. Call (707) 521-7785 with questions. 3883 Airway Drive, 2nd floor conference room (next to registration). All are welcome. You do not need to be a part of Sutter to attend.
